Mr Clifford Ashby B.Comm, ACA
Managing Director
Appointed as Chief Executive Officer in May 2009, Mr Clifford Ashby was appointed Managing Director on 1 December 2009.
Mr Ashby is a qualified chartered accountant in both Australia and South Africa and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Town. He has a strong management background and was managing director and general manager of a listed horticultural company in Australia for the past 12 years. Prior to this he garnered experience from a corporate finance career in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia.
He has previously served on the South Australian Premier's Food Council, the Citrus Industry National Leadership Group, the Citrus to China Advisory and Steering Committee, the executive of Food Adelaide and been a director on numerous private company boards.
